My Favourite Author
My favourite author is Terry Pratchett, author of the Discworld series. His books are really funny. He parodies many things we take for granted in the world we know. Some of you may have watched the T.V adaptation of one of the books, Hogfather, on Sky One over Christmas. It’s about the Discworld version of Father Christmas (the Hogfather- so called because 4 giant boars pull his sleigh, no sissy reindeer for him!) and how he goes missing just before Hogswatch (our Christmas) and how Death tries to fill in while a strong minded woman named Susan goes looking for the Hogfather.
I won’t spoil the rest in case you read it.
Who is your favourite author? What books did they write? and why do you like them?

My best author is Roald Dahl. The thing i like about him is that he writes the best children like The BFG and Boy and Going Solo it is about his childhood. Also i like the called James and the giant peach that is maybe my best one.

My favorite author is Aleksey Sergejevich Pushkin.Because i like his poems he is the best author in Russia and i like a lot of his books like Olovjani Soldatik, but also i like his poems whose name are The cat on the gold ring, about rain, summer, winter,spring and a lot a lot

My favorite Author is Mary-Kate and Ashley because I read all the books about mary-kate and Ashley and I know all about them and I watch a movie about them and its based on the hit tv series.They start the book when they are small,until they getting older.I just like this author.

My favourite author would be Malorie Blackman. I say this ,because she has written some of the best books like, Checkmate and Noughts and Crosses. This is why i consider her to be my favourite author.

I have a lot of favourite authors since I enjoy a wide range of books. I like Jaqueline wilson books because I feel I an relate to them, as well as them being comical. I also like Darren Shan because he writes horror books which describe magical cratures.

my favorite author is Stephen King he writes really scary books and disturbing it matters from ure point of view u may think it scary and another person may thing its not scary he one of those authors how make u think about the book and i like that in an author he puts alot of thinking into he’s books and he does a great job.ROCK ON.

Another of my favourite author is Tony Diterlizzi and Holly Black because, of the series “Spiderwick Chornicles”,i like them because, i like how they write their books and the different characters in the book. i also like the different creatures in the books.

My fav author is Darren Shan. He is a really good AUTHOR.He writes horror books and his way of writing and words that uses are soooo…i don’t know how to explain it, it’s different and interesting. The books that he writes are really grabbing. My fav collection is the books of Demonata.
