One of the Best Free Music Sites!

Posted by Miss Berrisford on January 24, 2008

Download.com has many good things but the music site is (in my opinion) one of the best free music sites out there.  It hosts a lot of independant artists and undiscovered talent so if you really want to explore your musical tastes away from the top ten chart hits this is the place to come!

However not all of the artists are people you have never heard before, famous artists often allow thier latest tracks to be streamed from the site (not downloaded!)

One of the best picks is the soundtrack to the modern version of “Romeo and Juliet” it has the best song in the world on it which is “Everybody’s free (to wear sunscreen)”

Check out Download.com’s music section at http://music.download.com/

And check out the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack at http://music.download.com/romeoandjulietsoundtrack/3600-10615_32-101009104.html?tag=MDL_chart_topdls_artist

REMEMBER Never download things to a computer without permission from a parent or guardian!  Neither Portland Place School or Alpha Plus Group accept any liability for items downloaded from any site linked to this page.

http://www.arkive.org/species/

Arkive is an online digital archive of still photographs and videos of some of the rarest creatures in the world.  The site gives you lots of videos and pictures of any particular animal as well as a bit about the animal and where they are on the endangered list.  A must for researching endangered species or just looking at some of the wonderful animals on the planet that, without our help, will soon be gone!
